Reason 1
Long gone are the days of getting your local farmer to spread or remove what is in your muckheap.
Over more recent years we are learning more and more about healthy soil in your grazing pasture and how horse manure attracts worms, flys and other unwanted insects that can end up in your horses digestive system causing a range of problems including ill thrift, diarrhea, colic and death.
This is why it is good yard management to poo pick your pastureand have your muckheap emptied regularly and away from your yard altogether.
Reason 2
Due to such tight regulations on how horse manure must be stored or disposed of, we provide solutions to comply with these regulations and to avoid any problems.
Regulations state that you should place heaps of horse manure and bedding where there is no risk of run-off polluting watercourses. They should be at least 10 metres from a watercourse and 50 metres from a well, spring or borehole that supplies water for human consumption or for use in dairy farms. Permanent manure stores should have an impermeable base that slopes so that the run-off can be collected easily in a sealed underground tank.
All of our solutions address these issues and leave you worry free.
